Brotherhood Of Men

I am crazy about musical theatre, yes, that we already know, but do you know so does Daniel Harry Radcliffe Potter as well? He is another wild card and very suspicious, that maybe you miss out.

He is casted in the broadway drama How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying and I have only witnessed the awesomeness through the 2011 Tony Awards performance on Brotherhood of Men, and I tell you, he is one talented and committed musical theatre lover. It was wonderful to watch him dancing with all the hunky dancers and put so much effort in making that number a success (which I believe tried and tried and tried for so many times) I mean I love this performance so much it got me thinking of moving roles in advancing myself for the risky business. But I am not stupid to understand my reality, so I will just sit here and watch it over and over again and recommend to my friends because my friends, the theatre is not just for gays anymore. :P

Please don’t let me start on La Cage aux Folles, because I wouldn’t stop and would get all the chills and jills~ wooo~ yew~ we are what we are~~~~~

The Heart Wants What The Heart Wants

I want to hug him through my winter

In the time of winter closing by, this week Beijing hit below freezing point and got me thinking a warm wool and a hot guy, just exactly like the picture above, shining his smile piercing through every bit of heart I could obtain, it is like warm sun melting my cold freezing skin away, and growing a huge smile on myself. For those of you who aren’t interested in men, you will never ever Ever understand. LoL.

I am trying my best to become the guy I want, so that I could be much more narcissistic and able to be other guy’s dream, isn’t that a great ambition or what. But of course at the end of the day I could not have sex with myself (or could I? hm…) and I am still needing in search for such a person in life, but till then, this picture saves the day and I no longer feeling hungry~ (oops~) :)

In Home Movie

Well, you know I would be staying in almost 24-7 when I was in Penang home with my family, because there were so much to do, especially with addition to my new toy - the Sad Doll. But I did manage to sneak to 2 movies which I wanted to watch so badly.

Thor - I kept teaching Cutie how to pronounce it correctly, because normally people would say “Tall“, but in fact it was “Third-Or“, she could almost do it after 10 times trial. Anyway, the thunder God has never been hotter than ever with this guy (I kept forgetting his name, how un-pro I was) as the protagonist, and the sweet sweet sweetie Natalie Portman. It was a fantasy film where most of the story evolved in Asgard, the beautiful city resembling Dubai to me, so the real world on earth seemed really out-dated, technologically poor. It was some sort like Olympia also, with Hades (dark, and instead of hell fire, it is freezing cold) and Zeus (thunder, anyone?), but overall I was quite happy with the movie, I gave it a 3 stars, hopefully to see more of him in 2012 Avengers~

Tangled - hmm, another movie with “T”, I was hooked with I saw the trailer, the male protagonist caught my eyes and I was telling myself that they had finally knew what was important in acting, it’s Attracting~! and Rapunzal looked pretty too, I loved the movie, it was sweet, it was touching, it was full of adventure and not too much drama (or was it?) and I kept not forgetting the guy’s hair, it was floating in the air literally without jeopardizing his style, anyone could kill for that soft thick hair (sigh me). I gave it a 3 stars, hopefully they don’t make a sequel and leaving good things as it was.

hunky - ooo lala

In Flight Movie

Filed under: Uncategorized on Monday, November 21st, 2011 by Keone | No Comments

The recent home trip gave me the opportunity of having 4 flights in total (actually 6, but let’s forget Air Asia), each with over 3 hours journey, providing me 1 full movie for each trip, and I was happy to able to get all 4 from my listed films, 4 block busters and all within the top 10 box office for this year.

Cars 2, didn’t like it, too many characters, too cheesy, like a James Bond meets cute anime movie, totally forgetting Pixar’s spirit of making something meaningful and technological improving. I wasn’t expecting Cars 1, but it turned out really good because it was telling a story about take a break and taking a ride for what’s value in our lives, but this second installment was just targeting more one obvious monetary target, I must say I am disappointed by Pixar for last year and this year. Hope they do better next year for Monster U. 1 star.

The Green Lantern, the hottie hunky Ryan Reynolds but the genre is actually a comedy, I don’t know if it was the original comic genre, but it was pretty cheesy (again) that you can imagine things and realize it (what a power that is and we all know what I am going to do with this power, muhahaha). Anyway, there is nothing much about the movie, because everything fell typically in order, love interest, villain, failure, gear up, defeat the enemy, I really hate to continue. 1 star, the sake of Ryan.

Captain America, another comic character, and I saw Stan Lee again, cameoing up amusingly. And this one we have Chris Evans, we already love him from Fantastic Four, and now this, totally lovable, totally cute, and totally hunky. I wonder how the CGI did for the skinny timid him before he turn to God. The story is also predictable, but I could feel his depression when he woke up knowing the date he promised 70years ago has died so many years without knowing he is still alive, how that must be felt. 2 stars, could be better, but it’s an inflight movie, so…. btw, Hugo Weaving, you again…hehe

Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, James Franco, wow, I was getting so much eye candy recently, so full, this one is more animal instinct kind, I wonder who plays the behavioral CGI for the apes, it is pretty believable, and the scary part is he is really smarts and sneaky, how would you know that an ape could be so intelligently revengeful, it’s like watching a zombie movie which is smart and knows how to trap the survivors for their brains…. I give it a 2 stars as well, again, inflight movie, you really can’t get much of it.

I also watched Thor and Tangled when in Penang, I’ll review them in another post, they were much better perceived. In experience of in flights movie, they are okay, good to watch and pass time in the journey while eating the inflight food, haha~

now thinking exhausted to watch 4 movies

Taobao Seller

Filed under: Uncategorized on Sunday, November 20th, 2011 by Keone | 2 Comments

I am now upgraded to a seller instead of an intelligent buyer (intelligent is overstated here, but you know me well) hehe~ I have always wanted to do it, because I believe in the vast market in Taobao, and so many people in China, I must have been able to sell a few things of my stuff for the good use and good money.

So I sold my dead i-Shuffle (believe it or not, people do want it for whatever reason) for RMB25, I sold my PSP for RMB600, I sold my Nikon camera for RMB150, and now I am selling the 7 CDs I bought back from Penang, because I no longer need this since the world (or my world) has gone pretty much digital, each CD with RMB20, and I have already sold 5 of them, it is really motivative and to know I can get some money out from my previous investment, although my asset is decreased.

So what should I sell next, perhaps my soul? or body? hehe~

goodbye CDs

Midnight In Paris

I knew Woody Allen is always a finny kind, an American humour of a loser pessimistic dark way but you would wear a smile, not incredibly happy, yet you’ll be fond of.

And Midnight In Paris, is said to be his most box office successful movie ever made yet (although only exceeding like 55mil in US region), of course he doesn’t really care about the box office, but in turn, it kind of making himself a certain milestone in an entertainment view.

And with Paris, we already know this is going to be romantic, but no where close, it is only talking about the city, but not really about the relationships between people. Frankly I had no idea about this movie and I am now amusingly fascinated by its fantasy storyline, it is like a Pleasantville genre. I couldn’t help but to laugh out loud being touched by the surprise after surprise I got from it, especially when Adrian Brody showed up.

And like all Woody’s movie, the protagonist is always resembling himself, so in this case, Owen Wilson, acting very much like a young Woody, mumbling words, and trying to prolong a conversation with a lady who him helplessly knew how to tackle with.

The movie makes me like Paris more, makes me like raining more, and makes me into literature more, gosh, he is such a good screen writer I guess. For that I give the movie a 4 stars, a fresh air over the heavy CGI in Hollywood nowadays.

I go Paris in 2014

iPod Shuffle 4th

Finally I took up the courage to decide that my i-Shuffle 2th generation is dead and sold it with a slave price to a stranger, and then I bought i-Shuffle 4th generation, a very similar one only about 30% smaller, but I do not appreciate the size because it is not easy to use the clip without clicking the buttons accidentally, it’s already too small, there is no need to make it even smaller, no point since the ear set is already bigger than the piece, or maybe next time they just embed the storage into the ear piece, then we only need a pair of head set, just like Sony did, hehe~

This is the 7th Apple product I own, after the original iPod, a Macbook, an i-Shuffle 1st gen, an i-Shuffle 2nd gen, a Macbook Pro, iPod Touch and this… wow, I have invested more than RM12,000 to Steve Jobs‘ mausoleum construction fund!!

Gone And Now Back

I did something uneventful right after my birthday, and 3 times, within the 2 weeks come to say, it is a little very unlike me, but I did it anyway, and I do not know what it felt like now to be me anymore, because it is a little strange by now compared to by then.

Now you are thinking what did I you say? well, for one, it is uneventful…… (haha)

I was home for 2 weeks and now I am back in Beijing, chasing the end of autumn and welcoming winter with a big smile (hopefully uneventful event will have some turn around chances this time). I sure hope I am still in queue to witness the wonderful yellow leaves by this weekend before the wind blow it all gone.

Anyway, it’s good to be back, and my sleepless time is as much uneventful as it is now.

Stay Home Weekend

Filed under: Uncategorized on Sunday, October 23rd, 2011 by Keone | 4 Comments

I have no problem staying at home without particular purpose or should it have been going out with human interaction is a necessity. I love being at home, even my crappy apartment, because with internet, with my hi-fi, and with my macbook, I could do almost anything. I cooked my meals in wondrous ways, kicking my imaginations and innovations, I could brew a fresh cup of coffee and pour in a shot of Baileys just to be sober, I could lie on the couch and read for an afternoon, or I could just do my cleaning of the apartment, laundry, playing HOMM 3, write something, paint something, watch movies, listening to new music, all these I have not enough time but to leave it on weekends.

So whenever someone asked me how was my weekend and I answered staying in, it stroke a bizarre in them but perfectly making sense to me. I do not particularly want to go out unless there is a specific reason to, being in the park is one of them, but on a gloomy day like this? I guess staying in is the best option.

Perhaps it is the reason why I am being single, and as Sylvia the goilder said

If you don’t change the way you are, then you wouldn’t change the situation you are in now.

yeah baby, rock on~!

Happy Hour

Filed under: Uncategorized on Saturday, October 22nd, 2011 by Keone | No Comments

Last night I spent my happy hour with 3 of the colleagues, all from different departments but sitting nearby each other. And besides some gossiping and whining about work, I actually had some good time, most particularly was drinking the two bottles of South Africa and Chile, kind of making me feeling much easy. And you know what they say about booze and now you know, alcohol really relax you and makes it so much better, but of course I was not drunk, but close enough, the tipsy feeling is something pretty interesting and I enjoy that kind of easiness in life when it is already so tensed.

Relax, shake a bit and just chill with it~ Cheers~
