Langdon Did It Again
The Lost Symbol, the latest installment of the Robert Langdon saga, and after a few dry pages in the beginning, the rest are like a race car and I couldn’t put my hands off it, (as hot as a stiff cock, quoted Julia Charles~!)
The story is pretty much the same as Angels & Demons and Da Vinci Code, there is a villain with a twist, an undecided character, a beautiful scientist who couldn’t lure Robert because he was too busy deciphering icons and ancient symbols, and the car chase, or playing hide and seek, and not to mention some particular scene to trap Robert in a small dark space for his childhood phobia. They are all the same storyline, but boy oh boy do I stop oh no~ It is still as exciting as ever, only not as good as Angels & Demons because I really don’t feel Freemason is more ancient than Christianity.
Nonetheless, the introduction of Noetic Science really interests me because just recently I encounter a lot of the same term appearing in different articles/movies/books. It must be a hype of the academia right now.
I actually finish the think book in about 3 days (subtracting the dry pages which I left for so long), thanks to my team building trip to Golden lake which gave me a reason to put down a laptop and do something better, for that I am grateful. And I give the book a 4 stars out of 5, for the sake of Robert did it again, the muscular Mal’kah, the American history, and Pod 3 (so interesting but not real)
