Once again I was not let down by the great people in Pixar, they are literally making wonders out there and having the world to share with them. (Although they did make a lot of money out of us… but well, I pay good money)

Up! is this year’s Pixar show down and although the trailer was not too flattering, but when I got to watch it with LikiLow over a Chinese Valentine’s day did bring a lot of joy out for us (eventhough I am very very not against the rumor of being straight sometimes….hehe)

The story is about a 78 yo and an 8yo adventuring through a floating house to the paradise of unknown, meeting a darn colourful ostrich and a very very very very cute talk golden retriever (I simple can’t resist of him, I wish I could have one like that, so fluffy so fun so cutez!) and the story is quite predictable, yet the colourful scheme of CG just blinded me and blurs and spurs of imaginations.

And of course, I was inspired by oh so many thoughts throughout the movie, like the one his wife would have a dream but never got to realize due to life (such a sad ordinary middle class, yet they are amazingly happy, I wonder if I would go for latter), or the old memory (house) just weight you down if you won’t let go, or the lesson that we should go for new adventure out there.

It is a beautiful world I still believe, and it is up to us to explore and be happy.

btw, the music, flawless! I am loving almost every bit of it~
