And this is already the 3rd installment. Although I was really excited to watch with Jeremy (hehe… this one coming soon) but the popcorn purchase took a zillion years and I missed a whole part of the beginning. So the first impression I was really not enjoying the movie already. So hate~

And then there was this ridiculous plot that a new world is spawning right below the snowy earth surface. That I really cannot believe and not convincing at all (anyway, the ice age theory and story itself was a laugh). And of course the introduction of more and more characters makes the movie characters less and less mesmerizing. This is another bad point for the franchise.

Overall, it is a little funny on the story, but I was not very convinced and didn’t laugh as true heartly as I did. And the final scene was not too good to be remember neither. In general the movie is old fashioned and trying to squeeze a story line out from the famous success of its predecessor.

I really hope there is no Ice Age 4, because this one is already too cold for me. And for that I give the movie a 1 out of 5 stars.
