Straight Up From Bottom
I met up with Xiamen Bitch 2 days ago, apparently he is still in Penang, and naturally there was a drama performance (Why would I be surprised?).
We had a little catching up during lunch, and my friend there was not only becoming a business owner, but his lifestyle has changed so much it is considered dramatic to me. I couldn’t hide my surprise but I didn’t ask much. It just seems to me that once a person comes to a certain age (eh-hem~), their mentality will somehow push to another level, and for Xiamen Bitch’s case, from bottom to a top. (well well well)
Of course it is not up to me to judge, furthermore he has already done it (quantity wise I wouldn’t dare to know, but he did sound firm). I think we all have passed a certain level of knowing each other’s life, distance and gap is generating visibly but very slowly, I don’t know the next time I met up with him what else would fight against my belief on him as a friend anymore. But life always surprise me.
On the other hand, it has been 3 years I live in this city, but somehow I gain little. What has changed in me from an adventurous to a static routined person?
