Confusing Wedding

CanLee was a lunch buddy whom brought a lot of fun and helped the digestion. He was carrying this role for almost a year before departing to a bigger adventure. I remember meeting him shortly after I came back from NZ but since then it was a really stern stop over our communication, until the introduction of facebook which I could occasionally visit his rounds over rounds of gathering fun time pictures.
I forgot if someone told me or just my own impression, I’ve always thought he is gay, and I know there was someone special and even saw his picture before. But I never went further to venture into his love life and knew just the impression living out in my memory.
Hence the surprise was not just a surprise from his email. He is getting married! (Yes, to a girl!) I tried to fork it out from a friend, but little did I get, so I decided to attend the dinner and see for myself. I asked a few more, but they gave me a smirk with nothing else. I think the truth would lay out of my hand, sinking below for a good will, none that I want to grip it, but simply a course of curiosity strike.
The wedding was not a typical one, but nothing much out of boundary. And after that, I had sometime to sit and while waiting for my ride, I saw both of the newly weds shaking hands of smiling people, giving their best thank yous, I thought to myself, maybe this is good, maybe I should choose to believe that what I see is really what it meant to be.
Perhaps things really turn around and a second chance was given to start all over, and for his case, a marriage. I know this wouldn’t happen to me, but I choose to believe, like their parents, that this is something happy for their life. For better or worse, at least they did a hell of a good job that night.
Best wishes CanLee, just don’t let me down on my belief~
