Don’t get me wrong, I love Anne Haadaway, but her role in the movie is not really the typical girl next door (Perhaps Rachel’s Getting Married really explored her versatility) anymore and I didn’t really like her character. Kate Hudson on the other hand, although I didn’t favour her acting career all this while, but this movie she is pretty good, at least better than Anne, eventhough her role is more bitchy than Anne’s.

So this is basically what I thought about Bride Wars, I thought it would be a great love story or something like that, but it turn out as a cat fight between two best friends (hardly imagine that). Then again, the storyline is very old school and predictable, quite plain actually.

So I will give this movie 1 star out of 5, for the sake of Anne and a chick flick genre.
