Slumdog Millionaire

I actually watched the movie last weekend, but didn’t really have time to bla about it.

It was a reality shock in the first 15 minutes about Mumbai, life is really tough there and crazy things always happen everyday. We all know that there are millions of people in the world living in hell everyday but we mostly just choose the easy way out by pretending that everyone is good or better than us and we are not far worse than just being late to work, or getting dumped by boyfriends, or spending out of budget this month.

The truth is, we are way far living better than at least half of the population in this world (if you can read this blog, you do!) and in this case, 16 millions of population in Mumbai. The movie is bloody realistic but funny in its own sad humor. Just imagine a slumdog gets into a TV show? That’s a laughing stock already!

But the romance is a little cheeky to me, very Bollywood style though (and the ending dance number :D) I personally don’t have any preference in any scene. And I don’t really sure if this movie is worth an Oscar. Yet after all, it is a very strong movie to make people laugh and later think about the unfortunate tales of some people which we should not have avoided in the first place. Poverty is an issue that humiliate human kind, but ironically I am one of the self-fish one…

  1. Enjoy reading your blog, still.

To be friend or not to be, that’s one thing; to be fan or not to be, that’s another, ha-ha!

Keep on the good writing, and of course the movie sharing…
