Fat Kian just told me the news, and I found out from Maxis website. The long anticipated iPhone is finally arriving on Malaysia soil. But guess what:

1) With 6 month contracts, lowest plan commitment is RM80 and you need to pay RM2540 for 8GB and RM2960 for 16GB iPhone. (In this contact period, it doesn’t matter what plan you take you still pay this amount on the phone)

2) With 12 month contracts, lowest plan commitment is RM100 and you need to pay RM1900 for 8GB and RM2290 for 16GB iPhone. With highest plan commitment is RM375 and you need to pay RM1080 for 8GB and RM1470 for 16GB iPhone. 

3) With 24 month contracts, lowest plan commitment is RM100 and you need to pay RM1510 for 8GB and RM1890 for 16GB iPhone. With highest plan commitment is RM375 and you get 8GB for free and RM260 for 16GB iPhone (but it also means you have to pay a total of RM9260 for 2 years to Maxis!). 

If you think this doesn’t sucks, you probably super rich, or the iPhone phenomenon just blinded you foolishly. Even me as a big fan think this is a HUGE HOAX.
