Song Of The Year 2008
With 148 playcount, Mariah Carey’s Bye Bye stood up to become my Song of the Year 2008. That is like everyone listen every 1.5 day. I remember the time I got that song I was listening to it like 10 times in repeat at 1am or so~ And I always thought the public would agree with me but she didn’t get it to No1 in the billboard. Still I think it was a song that she dedicate to people in the world when the world is in turmoil.
Second on the list was Khalil Fong’s Love Love Love, chasing closely by Love Song, scoring 109 and 104 playcount respectively. Both songs were great, and Khalil has delivered something new to my world and also a lost desire for R&B since early 90’s (oh God).
Other notable numbers include:
Hans Zimmer - Remember Me (remember Something’s Gotta Give)
Lee Hom - Forever Love (remember BB Alvin)
Colbie Caillat - Realize (such a simple song, such nice)
John Liew - Johnny Encounter (a fine tune made by him)
Duffy - Warwick Avenue (a heart broken song that made u cry)
Janet - Rock With U (let’s rocking~)
I have added almost 1000 songs in 2008, so they are quite a pacesetter even now I am still listening~
