Quantum Of Solace
I just watched it. It was easily the best 007 bond movie (sorry Connery) to me, many may disagree with my opinion, still, I have my own reasons.
The movies started out with rush of adrenaline pumps on a car chase, then double crossing fight, and double flip back and ford cross fight (it was so confusing who was the good guy an who was the bad guy but I do know James Bond was the good guy so whoever fighting against him was bad :P). The fighting scene and action scenes were great, they were surreal as if I was standing right next to them witnessing their conflict. That reminds me of Jason Bourne’s great fighting scene. Daniel Craig did a good action job and the whole Bond series has constructed the image into some fierce, aggressive, fist overwhelmed man to which I think suits the movie hero image nowadays.
Then there was this sexy Bond girl Olga something, she was fantastic, fierce like a wild cat, and cool at the same time like a fashion model. She was somehow different from ordinary sex-with-bond-girl (like that unfortunate oil-filled English retired teachers agent). I like her very much.
And of course the usual country scene, fun to watch a movie with so many different locations.
Yet somehow I failed to understand the story, as I didn’t watch Casino Royale, and the whole movie was too much action packed, they used so little dialogue to explains all the conspiracies. Then again, I was not intending to understand in the first place, so Quantum of Solace suits my purpose of bloody fighting and Daniel looks so much better and better. (3 stars)
