Finally, yes, I have watched Kungfu Panda, after so long of waiting and yearning. And the first 5 minutes of animation in 2D is actually so much better than the rest of the 3D scenes. If only they would do that, then again, it was not commercial enough for 2D nowadays, still I like the style of the drawing.

The movie was not enjoyable to me, I think the story was too predictable and it was not logical to train a Panda up into a kungfu master like within 2 days. And the 5 were so under-treated I thought they could have did more. I like none of the five characters, but the Sifu is sorta cute.

The one scene that I was amused was the duck went to the jail full of rhino soldiers to visit Tai Lang (the ultimate villain), it was quite funny over there and destined that Tai Lang would escape.

Overall, 2 stars, sake of Jackie Chan’s 5 liner being the monkey and Noodle-dad-duck (so innocent and humble)
