Wall-E

This is a movie that I’ve been waiting for this year, mainly just because of Pixar.

This time I didn’t watch it with BB Alvin but my family and Xiamen Bitch. And cutie was crying so loud it got me so annoyed and couldn’t concentrate on the movie, which it was her first time crying in the cinema (comparing to the adventurous Indy and bloody Mummy).

I was expecting that the movie has no dialogues at all as the main character was a robot, and indeed it didn’t speak much but there were humans too. I didn’t like Wall-E character so much because it was simply too.. er… organic. It feels like they were actually some animals with robot shape.

I didn’t get so much fun from the movie, but the human part did amuse me and amazed me. And as for the music score it got me reminded of Lemony Snicket which later I found out was from the same composer Thomas Newman.

Overall I can give a 3 stars, a little better than Ratatouille, but not much any better.
