Memory Keeper’s Daughter
I’ve just finished the book which I kept more than 7 months but only managed to read (the truth is the pages were too dried to be consumed) on and off and mostly off throughout the whole time. It is the last English fiction I’ve read in 2007 but sadly the first one I finished in 2008 thus far, how shame, yet I was not blaming myself in any way.
When I first read the title I couldn’t understand the term Memory Keeper, but now I do, a photographer is practically a memory keeper (well in today’s technology, a videographer is, with higher effective impression).
Overall, I didn’t like it. (Duh, if I did I would have gotten to read it more hastily). And most probably it would be my only English fiction in 2008, because I wanted to read some Chinese fictions now (with the factors of availability and constant laziness of myself), so it is a shame we keep a bad book in memory of my 2008, but I couldn’t escape my destiny, so be it.
