Missing Point
Out of no reason at all, I let BB Alvin and babyKian dragged me to watch Missing (????). If you remember quite well, I had promised that I would not go watch a Chinese movie in cinema because it is a waste of money. And once again, I was right, the movie is another huge disappointment.
I really don’t know what had become of director Xu Hark as he was once a master, contributing so many great movies to the Chinese movie industry. Perhaps he is old enough and got Alzheimer and didn’t really know what he was doing. Poor old man~
The movie began with really nice effects in introducing the casts, I thought I was understated the movie for a second. But after a while, it got from good to bad, then worse, then sucked, then majorly sucked~ and naturally ending with a huge question mark in me and a three letter alphabet : “WTF?“
I would feel better if they split it into 3 different movies, one is a sad romantic love story, a ghost story and a thriller which the director (or more like the editor) failed to make it into a whole one story.
Frankly, I cursed myself when I was out of the cinema, and now again, I will never watch another Chinese movie in cinema again.
???? is more like ???? to me….
