Emancipation = Major Contradiction 2
I think it is time for a review on Mariah’s latest album too. E=MC2 is the name, SO SO SO lame if you asked me (Emancipation of Mimi was so good though).
In this album, I couldn’t really find a song like Underneath the Stars, or Breakdown, or Clown, or I Wish You Knew. But yes there is still Bye Bye, which is already my top 10 highest i-Tunes playcount of all time by now, still somehow I couldn’t really put my fingers on this song so much. Sure the album has a few good tunes which keep lingering in my mind, like I Stay In Love, Last Kiss, O.O.C., and Thanks 4 Nothin, but none of them could take a 5 stars from me.
After a month of listening, compare to Janet and Madonna, it seems Madonna is the weakest of the three, and Mariah is getting a tie with Janet, so far, and pretty much set though. She’s 36 now do you know that?
p.s. She is the fakest of the bunch though….
well, i agree… underneath the stars was one of her very best, I still believe and Don’t forget about us. but I kinda like E=MC2 much more that emancipation of mimi. There’re more songs to like that doesn’t sound like it’s forced to us. Still, butterfly and daydream album was the best. she’s 38 this year lol.
