Buildings In HK
I don’t think anywhere else in the world would have an apartment at 50th floor and above, or maybe I have only been to Hong Kong. But the thought of living as high as the clouds go by is somehow not my greatest desire, because most of the time I am aero-phobic.
And the diversity of buildings over Victoria Harbour overlooking from Kowloon side is always a thrill, let alone the highlights of its night lights. And this time I even saw a mighty giant black guy wearing a CK undie poster all over a building, it must be like at least 30 stories high!
Lamma island, on the other hand, is a back in time journey of what Hong Kong would look like in the 50s, maybe older. It is a place where green is ever where and hills are green, dogs and cats are walking without a leash, coffee shop would not rush you out for delaying their business, and bicycles are still commonly used. I think I would have enjoy it more if it was not a public holiday there.
Strangely speaking, before this trip, I always think of getting a life in Hong Kong for good with its glamour, its convenience, its fashionable sense, its civilization and everything nice. Even during the trip, both my friends actually asked me to. And I can’t deny any attractions it has to offer, but now I would say no.
Because a person who have been to New Zealand would say so. Smirk, smirk, smirk…. ;P
You walked so much !
