Fish Tank Update
It’s been really long time I didn’t update about my fish tank, yes I’ve getting bored about it, no shame but true.
Still I am quite committed to change water every 3 days if possible for their own good, yet there is a few point I would like to update on their recent condition.
first, The Rummynose jumped out one day, although saved by SST, yet still finding itself to its grave, forced by me (I drained the dying fish into toilet bowl). It was pretty sad story, but it just happened.
One day after that, one of the smaller Pinky Danio got somehow infected by some disease and within a few hours was gone. It was another pretty sad story, but I couldn’t prevent this either.
This is the 2 recent death in my family of fish, after a month plus of peaceful time, I think they would like to have some adventure fun, but it went bad. Now I have Roxy and Velma (Ballooned Red Eyed Tetra) still going strong, 2 Neon Tetra (surprisingly strong) and 1 Pinky Danio (still active but alone now). The number of 5 is foreseeing to be reduced further in near future, and by then I will apply either Yamato shrimp (to clear up the brush algae) or change my direction to straight Neon Tetra / Guppy / Betta (wow).
And talking about plants, my coppergrass slash pygmy chain swords is dying from the algae attack, and the unknown plant is dying too, and Fancy Java Fern is obviously struggling too, the brush algae is just simply too strong and I don’t know how to fight it. My last resort is to let everything dies and then restart, second cycle, just like that…hehe..
