Blair Witch Cloverfield
This movie has created so much anticipation among the younger group of audience, it didn’t even had a name upon the 6 months trailer campaign and people were guessing and buzzing about it, a highly promoted movie by its audience. Yet now it is showing, we all know what is really going on even before hitting the cinema. I stopped my decision of going after knowing the movie is shot in a fashion of Blair Witch Project, which the camera is hand held and very bad quality, shaky, jerky, and uncontrollable. Further more, HEA have seen it on last weekend and they said it stunk, perhaps they couldn’t accept the shooting version and got really dizzy by it. I must say I am one of the person as well, for not able to adapt to shaky screens, like Bourne Ultimatum was a bit shaky too, but at least not all the time.
As for the movie, it’s about the monster came out from nowhere and trying to destroy NY city, I thought something about Godzilla but it wasn’t, and the camera just couldn’t stay really still to show you the whole picture, it really is frustrating. I can’t believe the US can do so good in the boxoffice, maybe the Americans really likes stuff like that, I find it so stupid.
Maybe I will watch the downloaded version, then again, who will want to download that?
