Kota Kinabalu Trip Trilogy II

Our only planned activity was the snorkelling session in the Abdul Rahman Marine Park. It was a full half-day exposed to the scorching sun, I knew I couldn’t really take that, seeing my condition of newly recovered health. But still I ventured into the ocean (in this case, the shore) and saw a different world on earth. The fish was fascinating there, and the reef was fantastic too, it was another peaceful moment for me as I couldn’t hear anything but ocean and water, for the fish don’t talk J and I couldn’t as I was wearing the mask. It gave me great calm watching the fish, waltzing about elegantly. They easily made me forgot about my issues, even existence.

Though I could easily notice human activity and pollution had started to manifest the ecosystem there. It was a sad scene as some of the coral reef had died, mostly being stepped by amateur swimmer, and the area of coral reef was also relatively small. And after a long day, many parts of my body got sun burned and I had a little fever at night, perhaps this is my souvenir.
