Robinson Crusoe
After almost 2 months of reading, finally I have finished this 300 page classic novel. I must admit that the pages were dry, and lots of classic English which was similar to Lord of the Rings (a little better though) but it got smooth after the twentieth year of his survival in the isolated island. By four and twentieth year of his so called Deliverance, he saved a salvage and named him Friday (what an uncreative name!) and lived together for another 4 years before found a ship to get back to civilization. (For this, I thought of some really wicked gay thoughts about them…)

this is almost as the book described when he shown Friday about his achievement in the island
they call this island the Robinson Crusoe island, near Chili, but I doubt it’s real because first of all, the character is completely fictional
It is not the best book I’ve read, nor best Classic, but somehow the genre is very much suit to my mentality and lifestyle which I am trying to practice but to no prevail. Needless to say, I will definitely die within a week because I simply can’t survive in the wild by myself, I’m such a city person. Yet it was facisnating that the way a person could thrive in the most extreme condition and able to live in triumph eventually. What’s more ironic, he got really rich after 28 years being declared dead, and able to live so richly in England, or Spain, or Portugal or Brazil. This is how lucky a person like Robinsn Crusoe is, you can’t deny how clover leaves have been all around him.
Anyhow, I’m way way way underschedule for my October schedule, for I only started last night and it is called Disclosure (hehe). I think this one I will be able to munch faster because of the background of the story and Michael Crichton is a good novelist. So stay tune for that.
