Writing Documentation

For the past 3 or 4 work days, I have been burying myself into writing the SOP (standard of procedure) for TIPS (Touchpoints Interactive Processing System) manual, thankfully, I wasn’t having a lot of ad-hoc tasks, which gave me enough concentration on this, and I have achieved so much in these few days, although until right now I am still not 100% completing the write up, but at least I have done 60 good pages and am proud of it.

Before this I loathed myself having this task because writing documentation is such a boring job, everyone hates it, maybe except geeky librarian (piff). But once I’ve got my i-shuffle on with me, the world around has suddenly dissolved and left me and my music, so naturally, I could put much attention on the writing and make it as smooth as possible. For several times, I was sitting so quiet and tight I found myself standing up after a couple of hours without making a stretch, or going to the loo, or sipping a drink.

And finally the writing is almost finished, but there could be a lot more, if I were to put more back-end process into the document, and appendix too, I’ve got to find them all and compile some. It is not an easy task, and I hope I have enough time before I am requested to do something else again. Pressure is too much thesedays.

PS. T announced Pang’s resignation today, surprisingly I didn’t hear any gasp, perhaps all of them already knew…
