3D2N Penang
And so I went back home, a typical 3D2N trip (which turned out to be a little less than 48 hours) and strictly family matters. Ofcourse I had nothing much important to do at home except playing with my niece who is major important to the family.
I chose a Saturday for my departure to ease out a little on my Friday schedule so that I could go to Pump and show more muscle at home (hoho). A 9.30am coach but I was already soaking wet of sweating due to my heavy backpack while on the way to Pudu, the once and for all notorious bus station in KL city. And to no surprises, the coach was delayed 30mins before actually leaving the station. I slept half the time till reaching Ipoh tol and I read since then, it was Sherlock Holmes compilation, in Chinese though.
I reached the lovely Penang on a sunny afternoon right after 2.30pm and sissy sister was on her way 5-10mins later. My lunch was 2 Ba-chang (Chinese Dragon Boat festive dumpling) which was merely satisfying my greed for this yummy food. But they couldnt’ get the red bean one so I couldn’t 150% say I was happy. My cutie niece has changed since I last seen her 2 months ago, she couldnt’ recognize me at first but was later all over me and we were like play mates. She’s so cute-zzzz!
Another big surprise was the Nokia 6110 which they bought it to exchange with my current 6060. I wouldn’t say I’m happy with that bulky choice but its powerful feature did a really good impression on me and I spent so much time to explore the phone, over the net and the manual. Indeed it was an expensive phone and it’s over-suited for me because I don’t use 3G, I don’t use GPS, but it does have camera, two in fact and able to store so many things, and mp3 as well. Now I’ve got 1 old 512MB i-shuffle gen1, 1 new 1GB i-shuffle gen2 and now this phone, I’ve got so many mobile music but I’ve only a pair of ears, yikes!
Eric the Pooh (actually no longer coz he has slimmed down) brought a huge luggage of DVD, so I used my limited time (while not playing with cutie) to watch 3 DVD, Open Season, Pan’s Labyrinth and Snake On The Plane, all three of them were not as good as I expected although they did have a really good scenes. The latter was a bad B-class movie and I couldn’t accept that the snakes would attack people like that. I was hoping to watch Epic Movie but it was the bad version. I saw the Holiday too, but I couldn’t able to find time for that. Initially I wanted to watch Pirates3 but apparently GSC here was also fully booked, darn!
One tiny weeny reason for me to go home is to attend YeeYong’s wedding, my mum’s mother’s youngest sister’s second son’s wedding, I guess I call him cousin
He is a real hottie back then and I really like him and by this event I get to meet a lot of my childhood relatives and the questions about my lovelife, marriage management, and children proposal. Well, better than I imagined, I actually could squeeze out a little humour to entertain them quite well. The dinner was very traditional, the event was traditional, hell, everything just reminded me of my childhood. I took some pictures and share with you on what I ate..jpg)

The 48 hour trip was always packed whenever I got home, so many things to do with cutie niece, so little time to do everything else. We had lunch at Queensbay i-Dragon and I liked the noodles. My bus was 1pm and this time only 15mins late and I fell asleep again until Ipoh tol before continueing my book. Eventually I arrived by 5.30pm, totally spoil my schedule for gym so I had to cancel and maybe I’ll go tomorrow. Tomorrow’s back to normal life, well actually now is back already…
